Feist bassist Jay Baird endorses Markbass

Friday, April 18 - (Toronto, Canada) - Jay Baird, bassist for Canadian singer-songwriter sensation Feist, has joined the Markbass family.

“I use the Little Mark II in combination with the Traveler 151P cabinet, which gives me a clear and crisp stage sound,” Jay says.

“The unbelievable light weight and small, compact size of the rig are perfect for all the traveling I do. It’s such a smart little bass amp!”

Jay has enjoyed tremendous international success as a member of Feist’s touring band. The indie-pop chanteuse has sold in excess of a

million copies of her current CD “The Reminder,” earning five Grammy nominations, and recently week, won five Juno awards (Canada’s Grammy).

David Letterman, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Jimmy Kimmel Live and Last Call with Carson Daly, as well as BBC and CBC radio.

Many critics, including Amazon.com, called “The Reminder” the top album of 2007.
