LOW VS DIAMOND NAMED ONE OF ROLLING STONE MAGAZINE’S “10 ARTISTS TO WATCH”
TONIGHT SHOW WITH JAY LENO CONFIRMED FOR AUGUST 27TH
Low Vs Diamond is proud to announce they’ve been named one of Rolling Stone magazine’s “10 Artists To Watch” in 2009. Since the release of their Epic Records debut in late July, the Los Angeles-based band has performed on The Late Show with David Letterman, were hand picked by itunes for their “Next Big Thing” program and have been praised by Blender, Filter, YRB Magazine, The Los Angeles Times, NME and many more, for their ability to achieve an intimacy within powerful cinematic tracks full of explosive choruses and undeniable melodies. On August 27th, Low Vs Diamond will perform their single “Heart Attack” on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
Low Vs Diamond has created an album full of romantic songs that build to stadium worthy choruses and soar with nostalgic sounding chords that grab you instantly. Blender raves Low Vs Diamond is full of “roll down the car window and sing until you’re hoarse epics” while Access Hollywood simply calls it “magnificent” and “easily the best debut album heard in years. It’s full of promises made and kept, swept up in emotion, raining guitars and swollen vocals.” Nylon says, “Low Vs Diamond will have you singing along until the last power chord fades out. Their major label debut is going to be big” and The Los Angeles Times raves, “Standing precipitously between overwrought melancholy and chimey hopefulness, avoiding both excesses … the band’s music plays to an optimism that stops short of outright glee.”
