Acclaimed singer/songwriter Alexi Murdoch will be joining Alanis Morissette for her upcoming Ottawa show.

The buzz on Alexi had started before he released any material, as he was championed by KCRW’s influential tastemaker Nic Harcourt among others. This led to the release of the Four Songs EP, which then led to placement in Garden State and on the The O.C.. Murdoch’s self-produced full-length album lived up to that early promise, as Alternative Press claimed: “This album deserves it’s place in the spotlight–where , no doubt, it will cast a long shadow.”, and Rolling Stone named Murdoch one of the “Top 10 Artists to Watch”.
