SHWAYZE KICKS OFF U.S. HEADLINE TOUR
IN SUPPORT OF THEIR SELF-TITLED CD
OUT NOW
ON SURETONE/GEFFEN RECORDS

National Tour with Tyga Starts September 16th in Las Vegas

MTV Buzzin’ Reality Show Airs Through September 10th

Malibu twosome SHWAYZE hit the road in support of their eponymous debut, in stores now. Their headlining tour with opener Tyga commences September 16th and runs though October 11th. A melting pot of laid-back melodies, hip-hop rhythms and acoustic guitars, SHWAYZE pays homage to the all-day-and-into-the-night party. Collaborating with 23 year-old Shwayze is Cisco Adler, who co-wrote, produced and lent backing vocals to all the songs on the album.

With over one million plays on MySpace and one million plus views on YouTube, “Buzzin’” and “Corona and Lime” are climbing the charts. “Corona and Lime” debuted at #8 on TRL. The album marries Cisco’s roots-rock acoustic guitar with Shwayze’s laid back delivery. Says the rapper, “it’s California chill, West Coast stoner music.” “Don’t Be Shy” is about Malibu being an endless summer. It’s about waiting for the sun and kicking it at the beach. New York Newsday calls “Buzzin,’” “a slice of SoCal hip-hop so laid back, it almost sounds baked in the summer sun.”

Be sure to catch Shwayze on tour!

A joint effort by Rhys Fulber and former Front Line Assembly bandmate Bill Leeb, Delerium has produced some of the most unusual sounds to emanate from Vancouver.

The group found success with its 1997 debut album, Karma, which sold more than a quarter of a million copies and included a major club/dance hit, “Silence,” featuring Sarah McLachlan.

With Leeb responsible for finding samples, writing lyrics, creating bass lines, sequencing, and overseeing the project and Fulber handling the sampling and programming, and using a chords/string pad to craft additional melodies and arrangements, Delerium’s  sound is a dance-inspiring mix of electronics and post-industrial attitude.

Be sure not to miss Delerium when they hit the stage in Toronto for the first time in 10 years on Saturday, September 7th!

Settling in San Diego, he became a leading fixture of the city’s renowned coffee house scene. The certified-platinum album received major critical praise and spawned chart-topping singles.
At the same time, *Mraz* earned widespread acclaim for his incredibly captivating live performances, headlining several national tours and sharing stages with Coldplay, Bob Dylan and Dave Matthews Band among others. In 2005, *Jason* released Grammy-award winning Mr. A-Z.

The Wedding Present announce North American Fall tour dates]

August 7, 2008

HERE COMES THE BAND: THE WEDDING PRESENT ANNOUNCE NORTH AMERICAN FALL TOUR DATES IN SUPPORT OF CURRENT ALBUM EL REY
Legendary UK act The Wedding Present has announced a 21 date North American tour which will commence at the Casbah in San Diego, California and conclude at The Mohawk in Austin, Texas. The tour will take TWP through major U.S. and Canadian markets. The band released El Rey in May, its first new long player since 2005?s Take Fountain. El Rey found the band reunited with noted producer Steve Albini, with whom they worked with on their renowned 1991 release Seamonsters.
Press accolades for the album have been plentiful. Paste Magazine declares El Rey to be ?Lyrically barbed and lucid, the album is a good book?? while the Boston Phoenix asserts that ?Gedge (is)?uncomfortably literate and uncommonly talented.? The Big Takeover fell in love with the album, stating that the collection is ??The Wedding Present and David Gedge?s finest LP out of a good 25 of them (including numerous compilations and whatnot) in a respected 23-year career?Don?t miss!?
The live lineup includes David Gedge (guitar and vocals), Terry de Castro (bass), Graeme Ramsay (drums), and Chris McConville (guitar). El Rey was penned whilst frontman David Gedge was living in Los Angeles and it burns with West Coast sunlight; Hollywood seen through the eyes of a gritty British Northerner. Speaking about El Rey in MOJO Magazine, Gedge says: ?I?ve been living in West Hollywood for the last year or so, and while I?m not going to claim that this is my ?L.A.? album, there are some references. I suppose the themes are lust, jealousy, betrayal, regret, obsession, super-heroes? the usual. We chose to record with Steve this time because the new songs were sounding very guitar-ry and quite dark. It?s been good. As you?d imagine, really; Albini knows his stuff.?
The band was a favorite of the famed late UK DJ John Peel. Don?t miss your opportunity to see this exhilarating live act near you.
Dates are as follows: 9/18/08 Casbah San Diego, CA 9/19/08 Troubadour Los Angeles, CA 9/21/08 Slim?s San Francisco, CA 9/23/08 WOW Hall Eugene, OR 9/24/08 Neumo?s Seattle, WA 9/25/08 Doug Fir Lounge Portland, OR 9/26/08 Media Club Vancouver, B.C. 9/29/08 Turf Club St. Paul, MN 10/1/08 Empty Bottle Chicago, IL 10/2/08 Crofoot (Pike Room) Pontiac, MI 10/3/08 Lee?s Palace Toronto, ONT 10/4/08 Babylon Ottawa, ONT 10/5/08 Le National Montreal, ONT 10/6/08 Middle East Cambridge, MA 10/8/08 Bowery Ballroom New York, NY 10/9/08 Southpaw Brooklyn, NY 10/11/08 Black Cat Washington, D.C. 10/12/08 Local 506 Chapel Hill, NC 10/14/08 The Earl Atlanta, GA 10/15/08 The Bottletree Birmingham, AL 10/17/08 The Mohawk Austin, TX .

BUN B TO PERFORM INTIMATE MYSPACE RELEASE SHOW IN DALLAS, TX, AT TORCH ON AUGUST 1
NEW ALBUM II TRILL IN STORES NOW ON RAP-A-LOT/ASYLUM RECORDS

MySpace Music is proud to announce that Bun B will be performing a free show for his MySpace friends at Torch in Dallas, TX on August 1 - a show being powered by Saints Row 2. Celebrating his recently released album "II Trill," Bun B will be returning to his home state of Texas to showcase his newly-christened material. Attendance is free for 21+ adults for the performance on a first come, first served basis starting at 10 p.m. on August 1.
Emerging from Port Arthur, Texas, as one-half of UGK (Underground Kingz) alongside the late Pimp C, Bun B has also made a name for himself as a hugely-successful solo artist in the hip-hop game. The three years between his debut solo album "Trill" and the present time have been turbulent for him but have provided inspiration for the wordplay featured on the highly-anticipated sequel "II Trill." Since Pimp C’s death in 2007, Bun B’s solo career has taken on an entirely new meaning, and the new album, along with his continued popularity, are a testament to the type of impact he continues to have on Dirty South music and beyond. Featuring guest shots from the likes of Lil Wayne, Sean Kingston and others, "II Trill" is a statement that Bun B is able to carry on the spirit of UGK despite the absence of his partner in rhyme.
